Free State Intercessors Network PDF Print E-mail

This network originated because of the weak performance of the Free State in all areas comparing to the other eight provinces in South Africa. The Free State is last on the list regarding economic growth, development etc. We felt the need to pray for the province on corporate level to address these problems.
Our first Free State Conference was held during the last weekend of August 2007 in Moolmanshoek in the Eastern Free State under the covering of Ariel Gate. Ariel Gate is an Apostolic House under apostleship of Natasha Vermaak. It was then decided to have quarterly meetings, every time in a different town in the Free State. Meetings were held so far in Bothaville, Welkom, Senekal, Bloemfontein and Kroonstad. The purpose is to give training in strategic intercession and more important, to pray corporately for our province. Fifty to seventy intercessors and spiritual leaders usually attend these meetings from all races and Christian denominations.

The second conference was held at the end of August 2008 at Moolmanshoek.

The network communicates through two weekly newsletters. Twenty-six towns are presently represented and the letter is sent to over one hundred people.

A Prayer house is being built on Moolmanshoek for the intercessors of the Free State. The vision is to rotate the towns to pray for a week at a time. This will be implemented as soon as the house is finished.
The people responsible for the network is Franci van Wyk from Bothaville and Hanti Badenhorst from Welkom. The admin is done by Matjhabeng House of Prayer.
