"Behold I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for the harvest." (the words of Jesus - in John 4:35)

What a privilege it is that God has given the Church of Matjhabeng a beautiful home for the Matjhabeng House of Prayer. But it is more than a privilege, it is also indicative that God has enormous things in store for Matjhabeng in 2003; and as such it is an awesome responsibility.

I believe with all my heart that the Lord has given us the House of Prayer because He has a harvest for the Kingdom just waiting to be reaped. I believe that the churches of Matjhabeng are going to be leading people to Christ in unprecedented numbers in this season.. I believe that backslidden believers are going to be repenting and coming Home to Christ in unprecedented numbersand I believe that faithful followers of Christ are going to be filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit in ways that will release unprecedented power and blessing in their ministries, their families, marriages, social lives and businesses. That, I believe, is the Lord's desire. But I also believe that this is why the Lord has given us a beautiful place to convert into a House of Prayer. I say "convert into a House of Prayer" because, although we call 357 Stateway the Matjhabeng House of Prayer, it will only truly be a House
of Prayer when we are filling it with our prevailing prayer for the harvest every minute of the night and day.

In the revival at the Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola, Florida in 1995, there were 10 000 conversions in 6 months. Untold thousands more have been saved in the years that followed. But the revival and the great harvest it has caused only happened because of four years of concerted, desperate prayers.

There is so many new opportunities for intercession at the HOP with dedicated prayer hours for:

Spiritual leaders
Business
City Council
Issues raised in the newspapers and a number of others.

In addition the Lord is calling pastors, elders, individuals, groups of friends, church prayer groups, cell groups, worship teams, etc. to commit themselves to times of intercession and of worship at the HOP. Oh, Church of Jesus, if only our eyes would be open to see the HARVEST that WILL BE REAPED if we will only heed the call to prayer.

COME ... for NOW is the Day of Salvation ... cry out to the Lord our God .. for the harvest is ripe, the house is available and the Lord is waiting.
